Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ
You got questions? We have the
answers right here?

If
I buy your CD with the Hip Hop beats, what am I allowed to do with them?
You can
use the beats as part of your own songs, that is, you can record rap over the
beats or even use just parts of the beats in your own songs. Unlike other
services, we do not place any restrictions on your use of the beats. Once
you purchased the beats, you can do whatever you please with them as long as you
add some of your own ideas to each beat.
The only
restriction we have is that you cannot license the beats as part of another
sample CD or Hip Hop & Rap beats collection.
Can you get me a record deal?
Unfortunately, we cannot help you get a record deal. However, the
professionally produced Hip Hop beats we sell on this site will allow you to
make your demo sound professional and make it easier for you to pitch your music
to record labels.
Please check out services like Taxi
or the Bandit Newsletter, and other A&R services that can assist you with
pitching your demo to record labels.
Do
I have to pay you additional licensing fees or royalties if my use of these Hip
Hop beats ends up on a hit record, film or TV show?
No.
Your original purchase of the CD is the only license fee that we require and you
can use the beats in as many musical recordings as you like. All we ask is
that you do not license the beats themselves without your own ideas on top of
the beats, for example: If you record rap on top of the beats and want to
license your song, you are free to do whatever you please with it.
The only
restriction we have is that you cannot license the beats as part of another
sample CD or Hip Hop & Rap beats collection.
Do
I have to give you credit on my album if I use your beats?
Although
it would be greatly appreciated, you are not required to give us credit.
Is
it OK to sell the CD to someone else after I finished using it?
No. You
did not just purchase the CD -- you personally purchased a license to use all
beats on the CD, but you cannot transfer that license. We price our CDs at
a very low price so all of you can afford to purchase a license. Please
support our producers by paying them their dues. Thank you.
